@pharoah246 He actually didn't swap the strings around. You can buy Fenders in that style now. If you can see the Fender logo you will notice that its upright.

To me, the awesome guys here are Steeve Jordan and Pino Paladino.. My god what a groove..!!!!!!!!!
Mayer is good, but lots of guys can play much better in that style (phillips sayce, KWS, etc..) Great !!!

At the very least, at least the pop crowd was introduced to the blues and the wonderful world of blues-rock through the John Mayer Trio. I hope they reform so I can see them live.
