Hol Baumann is the stage name of Olivier Orand from Lyon, France. He has been composing and producing albums, theatre, movies and documentaries for many years. Passionate about what he calls his sound sculpture, trying to find a balance between standard instruments and the sound textures of electronic music. The small magic of his pieces falls between the genres of downtempo, electronic and ethnic fusion.

Pseudo Hol Baumann is attached to the downbeat-electronica projects which I have developed for several years. My parcour with Hol Baumann is very related to the Ultimae team, Aes Dana and Sunbeam. My music is directed towards a mixture of "glitchy" acoustic and electronic sounds, melancholic and sharp, woody and urban.
