overclocking easy although sounds strange

in this video ill show you how to over clock your cpu .although i am doing this on an AMD cpu u can also try this on an intel cpu . i am using an American megatrends bios but you can also over clock using phoenix bios.remember overclocking using bios is safer than softwares and is effective.

Im Running an intel core 2 duo e4500 2.2Ghz.

Yesterday,i overclock it to 2.4GHz. i oni change the cpu clock ratio and cpu host freq.

then, i overclock it agn. 2.4GHz to 2.6GHz. Then, i run f1 2010. so damn smooth. After shut it down, i cold boot it on the afternoon, the bios system came out and said Overclocking Failed.Overvoltage Fail. I Had no other choice just to set it back to 2.4Ghz Settings.

@Heartbreakkid995 play with the voltage and the multiplier for a good overclock .overclocking is never stable so ..look at the temps also and ...check if ur psu is enough to support the load :),and most important buy a good aftermarket cooler :)

Nice video but you forgot to mention stress testing. That is what make a CPU overclock successful. Without running orthos or prime95 for a minimum of 4-6 hours it is only benchmark stable and might not even be stable for that..

@TH3FE4R3D1 by extra ram dude.... :) , or if u want to overclock ur ram increase the voltage and change the fsb of the cpu . butv the system will become unstable :)

@HAMAZA7123 try updating the new version of the bios using this free program called biosagentplus google it.then see if the clocking options are unlocked.

@vasumamayo what do you mean by moding the chip?, my bois is locked it does'nt have overclocking options...., i tried alot of programs all of them won't even start, all of them start with errors

if you r so desperate try modding the chip! the only way but risky !there are videos for modding cpu's to unlock the clock so try them?

@vasumamayo well i have a experaince with overclocking so don't worry about that. i allready tried clockgen and systool, they give errors when they start and won't work on windows 7 64bit

hey i would not recommend overclocking a laptop cpu cause you'll end-up burning ur system but u can try amd overdrive if you have a amd cpu or if u have a intel cpu u can use clockgen or systool these are free softwares .and again would not recommend overclocking ur laptop .
