So this is if you go infantry right? I want to go infantry anyways and try to do scout sniper school if I get accepted.

@usnavysss MCT is for everyone not in the 0300 field. And since Marines in the 0300 field are called grunts, MCT is for the POG's. I was a combat engineer and I to went through MCT.

@usnavysss You are Wrong...MCT is for Marine who are not INFANTRY...or as most people call them POGS... Infantry Marines go through ITB..Its longer then MCT because it is our schooling. Were other then infantry marines go to MCT to learn the basic skills as a infantry since every marine is a rifle men....then after they go off to their schooling of their MOS...

Unlike the Army ,Airforce and yes the Navy even tho USMC is under the Navy department the Marines is a combat branch meant for combat evey marine can kill and close in - engage the talib and scrap the motherfucker off the afghan map.

MCT is not for pogs dumb shits ,LAAD guners are as grunty as infantrymen them selvs,also m1 abram crewmen go to MCT amtrackers go to MCT and they go on scouting operations and fill in the role of infantry base operations when deployed.

@TheUrskagan so what if people are pogs. I fricken went to the field more with a artillery unit than I went when I was attached to a grunt unit.
