This video from the Washington & Lee spring-term festival shows the Parrot AR.Drone flying over an obstacle using its front-facing video camera and a navigation program written in Python by W&L students Charles Gould '12 and Mike White '12. Their tracking program was written entirely in Python, using the free / open-source AR.Drone AutoPylot package ( http://home.wlu.edu/~levys/software/ardrone_autopylot ) with the free/open-source OpenCV library for Python.
