Helicopter School Visit

During term 4 of 2006 I invited the Victorian Police and Fire Brigade services to visit the college and demonstrate their machines to our students. The MFB sent a fire engine from the Greensborough station and the police air wing sent their Aerospatiale Dauphin SA.365C1 aircraft. Both the police and fire brigade provide an outstanding service to all Victorians and I appreciate their support. Special thanks to officers Trevor Rim (police) and Glenn Martin (MFB) for their support and organisation involved on the day.

Hi Darren,

Once again I must thank you for your kind sentiments and wonderful words of encouragement. I consider myself to be a passionate teacher and I really enjoy passing on my knowledge of Design Technology to my students. Can you believe that the federal Government has not included the subject Design Technology into the National Curriculum? Obviously higher order thinking skills and problem based learning is not high on their agenda!
