I wanted to make a show about my favorite sandwich and this is the one I chose. It is always delicious, travels well, stays good if not better in a few hours, easy to make, easy ingredients to find and really hard to mess up.

Hungry Nation's 'Tamra Davis Cooking Show' features great recipes for cooking delicious meals and food for your family.  Tamra is a real Mom cooking real food.  New episodes every Thursday.

Recipe:

Malibu Sandwich (Makes 2)

1 baguette
4 ounces of goat cheese or any other soft cheese you like
1 sliced tomato
Handful of basil
Olive oil

Toast the baguette lightly. Drizzle olive oil on both sides, place or smear soft cheese on one side, add tomato, a pinch of salt and pepper, and basil. Press the two pieces of bread together. Voila.

  • How dare you make such a delicious sandwich and not share with us! It looks so yummerz!! :)

  • Nice!

  • @sukibarafucci Not nearly in the same degree but the kids need way more protien then the adults do they should be eating some form of soy 2-3 times a day at least. I mean she can do beans or something like that for the kids but they probably are addicted to foods shaped in nugget form. Just cause you think they are nasty doesnt mean the kids didnt get hooked on em early. It depends on what type of diet you grow up on in taste means.

  • @cameronmullins I tasted soy nuggets, they are disgusting. And people that I tryed them with agree with me. Anyways she worked harder for her meal, and gave her kids something completely dull compared to what she eating. Its like getting a high quality couture apparel for you and giving you kids rags to wear.. And who said anything about having to eat meat everyday? If you want to get down to it. both meals had some form of protein in them.

  • @sukibarafucci Those soy nuggets arent too bad and its a better diet then feeding kids meat too often. Noone should be eating meat every day we Americans have proved that.

  • The kids probably don't like goat cheese sandwiches. The crusty bread would have been difficult for them to eat anyways. Do any of you complaining that she gave her kids vegetarian chicken nuggets actually have young children? It's difficult to get them to eat anything at all, so veggie nuggets, fresh fruit, and yogurt is a pretty good accomplishment. Stop being so judgmental.

  • @sukibarafucci i feel bad to :( but mabey the kids dint like goat chesse i know i dont LOL
