The Book Thief Trailer

For English class we had to create a "book trailer" instead of a movie trailer. We had to choose a book from the list provided (which I assumed were all going to be boring). I was SO wrong! The Book Thief by Markus Zusak is amazing! At first I thought it was going to take forever to finish this big book...but nope, done in a few days!

So I thought I'd just share with you guys and get a few opinions before I turn it in. Windows Movie Maker doesn't allow music and a voice over to be recorded at the same time, which is why the sound goes in and out a little. But at least all these years of editing YouTube videos finally came in good use for a project! Woohoo!

Check 1:23 though because the background that you used for the words shows up with no words, and it doesn't look like it's supposed to be there.

@beamahjoub i comepletly agree when i was 11 my dad thought i should try something more chalenging so he sugested this book! ive read and reread it so many times and is still as amzing as the first times around!!

I am going to ask my English teacher if we can do something like that for a project. We started the book in the beginning of the year and I was like- "Oh good lord. This is going to be boring!". Now I'm like- "Hey oh my god, you HAVE to read this book! I swear it's the best book I have ever read! It's amazingly written, just give it a shot please!!!". I am so glad my teacher made us read it. This book really IS life changing...

@IcePrincess30244 I read the book in 5th grade and thought it was ok and I just finished it today (I'm in eighth grade too) and loved the book. But then again I love World War II and am a history nerd for it (lol) so maybe you just need to give it another chance later. :)

I really liked this! I think it's a cool idea to do that for a school project! I'm definitely gonna tell my teacher if we could do this! I didn't rly like the book tho. Maybe that's cuz I'm in eighth grade.... But u had to read it for a reading assignment. Gah my school is sooo ahead
