a rotational time reference?

@nightmare I agree. that's why it's called science FICTION. Star Trek has always played with concepts of convenience, especially with time travel. Even if James was wrong on certain points, the case stands overall. Surely nobody can seriously claim Star Trek's science as impeccably valid... can they? MMMM- Mr.Spock! HELP! Where are you when we need you? (^,^) -g

James made his video for the enjoyment of the general public. Even out of context, some of the babbles he used were just plain funny in their complexity. Remember people, don't hate on James just because he understands that most of his viewers aren't Trekkers. Long techno babbles sound smart, funny, and aesthetically pleasing in the science fiction genre. It's just long strains of complicated words and a video made just to show how they were out of context is not nessisary.

Good points! Gotta love that Riker mindfucking. :-p Because he doesn't get enough alien women to fuck, right? lol
In defense of JamesNintendoNerd, I think he took some of the technobabble out of context just to be funny. However, I think he would have been better off giving the Riker Mindfuck and Data's babbling in ST: First Contact more context----his video might have been as funny as yours! As it was, his video was kind of dull to watch. Definitely NOT his best "Top 10" vid.
What's a "rotational time reference?"

for my money, a rotational time reference might be something akin to our day- one rotation.
