@GhettoBanjo I'm from that area as well! Do you play with any groups in the area? Jams, bands or anything?

Don't knock that banjo. It sounds pretty good. It's a matter of a good setup and a better recording. A better mic or being a bit closer to the mic without distorting would help a lot.

wow man, pretty cool! I'd like to learn it, do you have the tab?

It sure was! I was waiting for someone to get that. This was the song the Beasties sampled for "5 Piece Chicken Dinner".

I just bought my daughter the Deering Deluxe from Turtle Hill Banjo Co., Md. Dave Schenkman, owner/dealer spent hours with her (12 yrs old), letting her try out all sorts of different banjos. What fun we had watching her find her favorite, the Deering Deluxe. How old were you, ghetto banjo, when you got started?

@MsJollycholly I got my Deering Deluxe from Appalachain Bluegrass, also in Maryland (Catonsville) .I started playing when i was 21, on a cheaper model Deering "Goodtime". I got the Deluxe about 2 1/2 years later, and this video was probably posted about 6 months after that. I've been playing for about 7 years in total now, and still love my Deluxe. I hope your daughter enjoys her too.
