@angelaubree You are exactly right. I promote Ground work, groundwork, and more groundwork. While I was trying to get her to communicate more with her she was also taking riding lessons with another trainer. I didn't feel comfortable with that due to the fact that she would pay more attention on her riding instead of her ground skills. I usually do not allow my clients to ride til they get ground work right. Also her attitude was all wrong that is why I had her dismount and forget the show.
The girl with the chestnut horse at 2:23 REALLY needs to learn some basic horse knowledge and needs to learn how to contol a horse before even thinking about stepping into a show ring! The horse clearly has no respect for her and just pushes her out of the way, that can be dangerous! The horse walks all over her ! She needs some lessons on how to handle a horse properly!
