Nice one Liz - and pretty damn rare on a UK 78! Judging by the JO serial number prefix, I believe that this would have been pressed for export to South Africa. Would be interesting to know if it actually got a straight UK release on the "B" number series.
Thanks Gene. I've just remembered my Piano Red 78's also have the JO prefixes - also from 1950 - 51. Sometimes it take me ages on Google tracking down the date of some of these records, let alone whether they're export pressings or not. Someone out there always puts me right!. All the best, Liz
