  • Pretty sure I am! The gear was all the studio's stuff - all I brought was my stickbag. The kit is a Ludwig Vistalite (yellow), and I played on 5 of about 150 cymbals that were in the studio. The sound engineer on this project is a friend of Jason's, so I'm pretty sure he just used Jason's stuff for this.

  • @drumology2001 hahaha seriously, ur using his gear!?

  • I know he does - what do you think I'm playing in this video!?! :D

  • @drumology2001 that's crazy! hahaha maybe if u get in contact u can lie and tell him u left some of your gear behind! he has some pretty great hats and ludwigs u can get....just kidding!

  • I don't remember for sure, but I think I heard he was building one in Bellingham. Funny story: I had a red Nalgene water bottle going into this session, and I forgot and left it there. When the studio closed, it got packed in with Jason's stuff. Needless to say, McGerr owes me a water bottle! :D

  • @drumology2001 i wonder why he decided to shut it down... it could have been a great little private studio...but whatever. at least he didn't sell out like alot of his band- it's great to see he's still down in bellingham/seattle WA. he seems to be a very mellow, modest dude...which fits his drumming style perfectly. do u know if he's building another studio?
