it realy hasn't been as expensive as I thought buying phones for my two kids. This Tracfone Motorola for under $13 each Plus service for 3 months at $20 (each) I really thought that I was going to spend a lot more than this - wil make a nice gift for my kids special friends when it is their birthdays

My family and I have been with tracfone for awhile. I understand now why my buddies have been with tracfone in the past. Tracfone seems to offer better overall value then nearly any other cell phone company!

This is an awesome deal! I got one for each of my kids and one for my mom. Everyone loves them, they're great phones- if you only need the basics... and texts and calls costs next to nothing and you get great coverage. Sweet deal

That is an added worry as the kids get older-before you know it, they're wanting unlimited plans to keep a string of girls happy! :) At least with Tracfone, I know there are limits in place to keep the costs low, and to keep my kids from being consumed by their phones.

@Tim28Leo Good move...I hope you got the double minutes for life plan as this will hugely increase the time she can spend on the phone and the free incoming texts will be a bonus to help her save money! My kids love their phones and I love mine as I save so much money with Tracfone!

this is probably my favorite Tracfone commercial I've seen thus far. In fact, I think if you're going to get a phone for a kid his age Tracfone is the way to go. That's why I got one for my niece this Christmas. It's just a simple and easy way to get them started on the responsibility of having a phone! Plus they'll get great nationwide service and you can monitor their usage by customizing their minutes! Perfect!

Really funny ad, this kid is spicey:) My kids also just joined the tracfone spicey club, i bought them each a $8 special from family $, as i really want to be able to contact them at anytime (now they're back at school an always out doing stuff with their friends)
