XIT was originally based in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Members include founder and Native American Music Award winner Tom Bee, A.Michael Martinez, Mac Suazo, Lee Herrerra,and R.C.Garriss.
"XIT" stands for "crossing of Indian Tribes", according to Tom Bee, founder and featured artist of the 70's Native American Rock band.

  • Muchos dicen que este grupo les recuerda su infancia, otros se sorprenden al no conocer que existían.

    A este grupo los conocí por un video documental sobre los grupos indígenas norteamericanos, en el cuál al final aparece XIT tocando en vivo la canción "Colors". Tras verlos quedé fascinado con esta banda y conseguí algunos de sus albums.

    Los collages de imagenes y música que he subido, son un homenaje a esta gran banda setentera de rock (folk rock, letra de protesta c/temas que eran tabú antes)
