Both...the most beautiful cars ever.
-
poorly directed movie.

@taulpaul85 You haven't missed anything. It was a complete shambles.

Please tell me they wrecked a look-alike and not a real Charger.

@Psychoholicable Hey man.. No, I don't think so. Why is everybody SO busy copying each other. Take the same amount as this movie budget, and spend it on a new script w/out Charger-killing. Nobody is praising this movie.. well, NEARLY everybody agrees.. it simply stinks. Much better to give new writers a chance, and of course.. to be a LITTLE MORE critical, than for the plots in "Fast and Fu.." movies. Anyways, my main point was, that the movie is not worth trashing neither of these cars for ;-)

@Chryslerdude That's quite harsh. The original though...Almost on par with Bullit.

nooooo the charger :(
-
3:05 you can see the camera mans shadow

@Chryslerdude i second that, this aint Kowalsky for real
This movie ain't worth a single SCRATCH in a 68 Charger.. AND a total and utter disgrace to the original ! If I saw it again, it would be out of respect and homage to the cars that died in the making.. May they rest in peace !

I was passing through Cisco UT, summer of 1970, with my family heading to Arches National Park. We came upon the filming of the crash scene from the orginal VP. However, the weather had changed and in order to keep the continuity, the filming was halted. We had to leave before the crash :(
At least we got some photos of Barry Newman, the bulldozers, the explosive laden Camaro and the Challenger :)
