(Sacramento) California has over one thousand boards and commissions, many more than any other state in the nation. California Assemblymember Alyson Huber-(El Dorado Hills) wants to consolidate those agencies and make state government more transparent. She co-authored legislation, Senate Bill 63, which abolishes the California Integrated Waste Management Board and transfer its duties to another agency, in an effort to streamline state government.
OMG...1000? No wonder California is so screwed up.
