These two are stunning together. You can see how much they love eachother in there eyes. GH has never been the same ever since VM left. Neither has Sonny.They can put him w/Carly as many times as they want, but he will never love her,look at her, or want her as much as he did Brenda. He gave his heart to Brenda as she gave her's to him. The day VM comes back is the next time I watch the show again.

There is no question in my mind that Brenda was/is the love of Sonny's life. This is evident because we all know that Sonny is an inherently selfish man; however, Brenda was the only woman he was willing to walk away from just to save her life. He loved her enough to give her her life by walking away, not dragging her in deeper like he did with everyone else. She was too important for him to destroy her, as he knew he inevitabley would.

@magnolia3eji you know, i was trying to figure it out and you just nailed it!! one of sonny's defining characteristics is his selfishness -- but with brenda, he loved completely. though he hurt her many times, he could give her up for HER sake, and against his wants/needs/desires. that's why she is the one. the one he loved most, the one that got away, whatever. guza has been underselling this dynamite couple, but let's hope he gets their wedding right!

wow the writing was phenomenal back then... too bad soaps no longer have the funding to be this great still because of the decrease in ratings... people only want to watch reality tv now... Oh how I miss the 90's

@invaderzimchick12 I think ABC has the rights to that music. The piano player no longer works for ABC so GH can never use that exact version again. That piano music used to have me near tears anytime it came on for this couple.
