Smint Advert. A Lip Sync Masterclass.

Although a lot of TV adverts are re-dubbed for use throughout Europe, I have never seen lip syncing this inept.

The mother's mouth isn't moving at ALL when the enters the frame. I assume she learnt how to feed her child by watching birds drop worms into their offspring's mouths, no human drops hard mints straight down their child's throat. What does she do if he wants a milkshake? Hook him up to an intravenous drip?

Next, all the child has to mime is "Wow! Smint!" which he cocks up (and how!).

The whole advert is stupid. The boy wants boiled sweets, a huge slab of chocolate or a piece of cake. He's not going to run about excitedly when he gets a morsel of ANTI-CAVITY sweet.

This ad looks like it cost about fifty quid. It's two people and a park bench. Smint, I will not buy your mints until you stop acting like cheapskates and film it properly.
