@231karl If it makes any difference at this stage... Do it! I didn't regret it, though you'll have to bear in mind advances in phone technology are starting to race along and you will definitely at some stage in the next couple of years be looking to upgrade again :L
I bought myself a Samsung Galaxy Note, which I run the test of CM9 with ICS on... and the HD2 on WP7 and the combination of the two works for me! Message me if you have some queries though :) HTH :L
Hey man, thinking of getting HD2, I'm in the UK and I can get a used one for a really good price! Could you just answer a couple of questions?
1. Is it yet possible to download apps onto WP7?
2. What is the community/development like? Is it still very active or is it fading?
Thanks!

@231karl
1. It is possible to download apps onto WP7 if you can get an activation code. There's more information on that in the xda forums.
2. Here's great article about the history of the HD2 at w w w (dot) xda-developers (dot) com /windows-mobile/two-years-later-the-amazing-htc-hd2/
The community is pretty active, the devs are porting the lastest Android and WP7 builds.

Which OS looks the best?

@bxbbrian Definitely WP7. It's very different in a refreshing way, plus it's super fluid and clean.

@jmailfl1 can you please try to help me, i don't know why its loading up last time the graphics ran for like 20 minutes before the phone turned off.

@dtlone2009 It hasn't happened to me so I'm not sure. Try taking a look at the Android XDA tread linked in the video description. I would say try installing the latest version (with EGL v.5), or try a different brand/class SD card.
