A presidential hopeful in Colombia may have some real skeletons in his closet holding him back from election. Juan Manuel Santos is coming under fire for his alleged role in civilian deaths during his term as Defense Minister. Laura Carlsen with the Center for International Policy explains why Colombian people are willing to accept a high rate of scandal in their politics.

  • I love how you're akk incapable of saying anything about FARC. If you ignore FARC, then of course, you will not understand with people are willing to accept something that has, for the first time in history, pushed then back. Human rights violations should be prosecuted, but don't act like the rest of us are morons when you ignore the other half of this country's history.
