  • You know. Using a newer storage format I bet they could hold a few gigs on one of those 5.25" disks now'a days. I think there's a market there.

  • I was able to store all of the data on ALL my old 5.25" diskettes (and I had several boxes of them) on ONE 3" mini-CD.

  • Wow... DOS based systems, 5.25" floppy diskettes...It really shows the age of these commercials! Makes you wonder what the computer critters would say about today's technology!!

  • He's a raccoon and mom is a squirrel? Hmm.

  • It's weird to watch these old PSA's now that computers, phones, music players and even TV's are so thoroughly intertwined.

  • I like how his name is "Hacker"

  • Computers in the 80's made organizing those Pure Prairie Dog League , The Bush Babies , and Billy Goat Joel cassettes easier didn't it? If the Internet disappeared over night and we went back to an 80's era computer system with no Internet , it could get boring for dang near everyone fast unless they have some kind of game or stored music or videos on it to keep them busy for at least a little while.

  • does a cake that deflates taste great? :o

  • lol raccoon definitely was owning some systems back then ;-) ?

  • @1977JAGuar Age? Like what, half a lifetime? Computer technology advances at about the same pace as a bullet.

  • This is probably how the way was paved for the Internet to become popular.

  • Doggie Bow-Wow, no relation to kid/teen rapper Lil Bow-Wow/Bow-Wow.
