  • i live in glendale tower.. its like a ghost town here.! i heard ther building a morrisons on the estate.

  • @samxxx91

That would be interesting to have a Morrisons, I wonder if it would be anywhere near the site of the old shopping area. Thank you for watching.

  • My grandparents lived in the maisonette right on the corner of Beechmount and Wilmot Drive...across from the shops!! So glad to have come across these videos although sad to see they no longer exist! They moved to Edgeware Road, Stockland Green after and it too is not the place now it was then. Sad sign of the times I think! I'd love to find some old pictures of how The Lyndhurst used to be for my mum as that is where she lived before getting married! Thanks for sharing these videos! :)

    Thank you for watching.

The area has been redeveloped and is still ongoing.

Harlech Tower was recently demolished, and other towers have had a makeover.

  • Shame they didn't knock em down with all the chavs who used to live in em still inside!

  • Good riddance - these vile buildings are representative of the multi-racial hell hole Britain has become. These things isolated people for the first time and brought about the individualistic, greedy, ignorant mentality of today - people so easy to manipulate and control.. They were/are breeding points for crime and drug dealing, good people down on thier luck thrown in with criminal asylum seekers.. British people should be put first, nobody should be made to live in these sick places.
