  • I love the sound of the Prairie Voices Choir - just discovered them now here on YouTube. Do they have their own web site? And could you please tell me where Westminster United Church is - it doesn'e say. Looks like a great church to perform at. Thanks and keep singing!

  • @choirman57 PV has a website at prairievoices(dot)ca Westminster church is in Winnipeg, Canada - probably the best acoustic venue in the city, and a great place to sing!

  • I need to know why so many choirs are doing the little "Michael Jackson" accompaniment at the clapping section. I first noticed this with the Kokopelli Choir videos, and it seems to be prevalent in a number of other performances. Why?

  • @blasianFMA The "michael jackson" version of the breakdown was in the original, unpublished sheet music. Choirs who got the music directly from Ames before publishing received this version. The published version has a different piano breakdown, which is probably the one you are more familiar with.

  • @blasianFMA - Unfortuately the unpublished "MJ" accompaniment was LEAKED by someone. I did not directly give the manuscript to anyone but the publisher, who then suggested I change the accompaniment to avoid copyright infringement. It's unfortuate that this version has and is being performed; and essentially...it's THE WRONG ONE!! ~Blessings

  • This is a favorite of mine, and I can honestly say that this is the best performance of this piece I've heard!! =) The blend is absolutely fantastic, the church provides wonderful acoustic properties. I thought the solos were a bit under-prepared, and the accompianist seemed to have some difficulties in a few spots, but regardless, this is a fantastic performance! congrats on making great music!!! =)

  • not the greatest sound quality but the male soloist was ballin. he's got mad overtone skills
