Songs are living history and they help us to understand and to connect to history in a more personal and direct way than merely reading or knowing the facts or timelines of a period. The songs were written and sung by people who lived through the events of the Great Depression and encapsulate their trials and troubles. In this video I introduce this project to high school teachers.
Will you be able to come to my class in Modesto Ca???
