Arm the Homeless
-
I agree tafuss, sadly we as a culture believe
that suffering is to be expected, and shame
on the one that sur-comes to suffering.Turning
our heads and refusing to reduce or address
suffering? in the long run may come back apond
us all in other ways. Curtis is trying to
get back into the system! and hopefully he
will send a message of self worth to others.

The human consciousness suffers greatly also when living on the streets` usually deteriorating from the insecurity of
being homeless. Its a rising reality that
homelessness is fast becoming our next social crisis. Just one paycheck away and this could be a personal wake up CALL.

Racial, social and economic stereotypes do not express the real truth of our shared human experience. That we somehow tolerate suffering as being an inevitable part of the American economic system says to the world that our system is in truth a hopeless one. We can do better and bright man like Curtis deserves a better life and a chance.
