Montreal is great for the most part. I like that you can hear not just French and English, but also Spanish, Arabic, Italian, Portuguese, French Creole, Chinese, Hebrew and other languages. Quebec City is better for architecture though. I think that Montreal used to have better buildings, but many got torn down for characterless high-rises and parking lots. Should've skipped the 1976 Olympics and preserved the old edifices, I think.  The "Big O" is crumbling and hazardous.
