So it's better to invest in that which will pay greater dividends in the future. What a genius revolutionary fucking insight that only took him six minutes to articulate.
-
its a shame to think that heyman will never go back into a creative capacity in pro wrestling ever again. in a way that only solidifies the idea that good writing and concepts in wrestling will never appear again.
-
Paul Heyman is probably the best creative writer/booker and WWE definitely should re-hire him.

I don't think this is a shoot I think this is just a good business plan.

@LegendJ0e4 Alex Shelley is also very good, Sabin has a bad injury i hear.
-
@1608Nikolai Allex shelley is still in TNA, and i heard that Chris Sabin has a knee injury (could be faked). ^^

Heyman is a fucking genius. His TV personality and character is just annoying and maddening as hell. As a wrestling business man he's a God. He just didn't have the money or clout to compete with Vince. If he had run WCW with Turner's assets instead of Bischoff or Russo the product dynamic would be completely different than it is today. If WCW wouldn't run WW"E" in the ground they would at least still be having ratings wars...which is what created the "Attitude Era" and made things great.

The problem with Paul's idea is that the second he develops the 20 something into a world beater, Vince McMahon offers the kid a ton of money and he jumps promotions.
-
@Nelogenazea Oh i see, hes one of my favourites will be exciting to see him back.

@1608Nikolai Sabin's been injured and thus sidelined for most of 2011. He's on his road to recovery and reports say he's getting better much quicker than expected, so I'd say he might return in the next few months.

Heyman is fucking right. You need to make new stars, not appease to the older guys. At least TNA is now starting to push younger stars (Bobby Roode - the TNA Champion, James Storm, etc.) into the main event scene. TNA definitely has a STACKED roster. TNA's problem has always been their storylines. BUT now that Russo is COMPLETELY gone from TNA, TNA's writing should automatically improve. Russo is a cancer, just like Hogan and Bischoff. I hope Hogan and Bischoff are next to go.
