At the river advocates press conference on Friday December 10, Bill Sedivy, Idaho Rivers United, explained why they were delivering a 50 pound bag of peanuts to Mr. Frew, an administrator at the Idaho Transportation Department. Mr. Frew had characterized people as "nuts" who might protest the proposed "Megaload" shipments on the Highway 12 Clearwater-Lochsa Wild and Scenic River Corridor.
