My landing in the good old Alaska Airlines Boeing 737-200 Combi. That's real flying!!! On the U-Turn we do right at the end of the runway you can check out how short the stop was. Wheather also wasn't the best that day and everybody felt sort of sick after landing...

  • this is so lame... any alaskan will tell you this is easy

  • @akpothed thank you for pointing that out!

  • Out of hundreds of these types of videos, yours is the first where the video actually showed a really bumpy landing. Good work with the camera.

  • @eastbaylifter Thanks! i tried to hold the camera still...but it was quite "shaky". Unfortunately the video quality isn't the best...

  • Next time, zoom out a bit more so we can see more of the wing, engine, and surrounding scenery.

  • I'd do it, but that film was made with a simple photo-camera! Quality isnt that good but at least nobody sees you using "electronical devices" and gets scared ;-)

  • what is the city code for Yakutat, I flew thru there 7 years ago on AS, ANC-Cordova(need taht one too), Yakutat-JNU-SEA. Thanks

  • Nice Reverse Thrust

  • The scariest thing about the video is the fact that it's a 737 200.

  • That was a cool view of the reverse thrust!

  • This was indeed a scary landing. Although, I wasn't onboard this one, I have experienced many 737-200 rough-air approaches similar to this. They're fun when drunk...terrifying otherwise. Great video.

  • Flying into Valdez Alaska here man I have seen and been in some rough landings and bad bad wind!!

  • @itsGazaIan

No it isn't. The video is sped up from real time. I guess the poster wanted to show off or something. If you're not sure from the approach, just listen to the announcements after the plane lands. The voice sounds like a 45 record played at 78 rpm.

  • AWESOME

  • That's one hell of a fast approach o.o

  • @Flowis311 Just tell them it's solar powered. People will believe anything.
