  • I didn't expect this problem in the U.S. because of the public libraries that might have the book and also secondhand from Half-Price Books are great. Overseas some countries don't have public libraries, which is a sad thing. You're kind of forced to either buy the books or use an online alternative/ borrowing from a friend that has the book etc... And it usually is such as waste of time and money when the course sometimes doesn't even need the whole book, just a few chapters.
