  • When Jay Peg won the Singapore Airlines International Cup after this I don't think that there were a lot of people that would have contested the fact that he was a formidible opponent when leading up any field over ~10F. He was perhaps a little one paced but he could sustain that speed for the last 5.

  • Nowadays? Why are you posting this rubbish on all the videos involving Jay Peg? He retired well over a year ago to stand at stud in South Africa, after he was pulled up in the 2009 Singapore International.

  • In 2008, Jay Peg still had the ability to bust out of the gate and take a field wire to wire like this. Nowadays, when he bust out of a gate and goes to the lead, he ends up fading towards rear pack by races end. This Jay Peg just no longer exist. What a difference a couple of seasons can make in a horses career.

  • That's a hell of a good win, especially considering the slipped saddle. I was really proud of little Seachange, overweight and gammy-legged, she wasn't a Sunline, but gee she was gutsy regardless.

  • Wanted Seachange to win this, we've only had 2 starters in this race from little old New Zealand; Seachange and Sunline, both ran well, but couldn't snatch the win.

I thought Jay Peg was gone, and Seachange on the rails looked good, but not to be.

  • If he does race next year, it will be at the new Mayden Race Course which is supposed to open early next year

  • Quite an incredible ride, even without the slipped saddle. Superb.

  • great but i wish darjina won

  • great race!

  • Great race would like to see Warm White Night do the same next year
