After doing the Armstrong pull-up programme for just two weeks, I increased my total number of pull-ups to 20.

  • @ZuluToadStool - Thanks, bro! I haven't done muscle-ups in probably about six months or so - I'll try to get back on task with them ASAP.

  • That's great man!! Keep it up

  • This is cool because I just happened upon the Armstrong Program myself. Say, I know the logistics of the routine (Day 1= 5 max sets, day 2= pyramid, day 3= 9 training sets, day 4 as many training sets as you can, and day 5 repeat hardest day) but how many times a day do you have to train pullups? It is just one workout a day five times a week right?

  • @raoulduke25 will do man!

  • @artakisthebest - Dude, when you get the OAC, post it. That would be rad. It's a great goal.

  • @raoulduke25 I just want to get an idea of what is a reasonable goal if oyu know what i mean, i accept everyones different, either way im going hard out the next few months and Ill try and let you know dude, im going for the OAC.

  • @artakisthebest - That would be tough, but I won't say it can't be done. I say it's tough (at least in my experience) because at 65 kg, no matter how out of shape I am, I can always do 5x5 at 20 kg. But I have only done 5x3 at 40 kg and that was when I was in pretty good shape. But if you do can do it, awesome.

  • @raoulduke25 my bodyweight is 73kg

  • @raoulduke25 Yeh well, then tell me this, Im doing 5 x 5 with 20kg, do you think I can do a 5 x 5 with 40kg in two-three months?

  • @artakisthebest - If he can already get 10 reps with 10 lbs, I'd say he can easily get to 20 reps in two months.

  • @raoulduke25 Thats a bit unrealistic, I dont hitnk it would take only two months,
