This was one of the practice rounds before the 2007 National BattleTech:Firestorm Invitational Event. Fifteen combatants on the field. The rules of this game: We take the lightest 'Mech available, strip off half of its armor, double the laser firepower and drop on "Hotplate", a lava pit laced battleground. With this 'Mech set-up, you can get one-shot-kills! This is a test of twitch reflexes. This mission scenario is a favorite of our veteran pilots. Come out to Regulars' Night to experience it. www.MechCorps.com/regularsnight

  • This looks like so much fun! Argh I want to do this so badly!

  • @frogjedi4 where are you located?

  • @MechCorps Southern GA but I don't have time to go to the las vegas pods or even take a day that would take more than a day due to my work schedule.

  • @frogjedi4 We'll be in Atlanta, GA this Labor Day Weekend 2010 at Dragon Con! See if your schedule might allow for it. Hope to see you there!

  • @frogjedi4 "March of Cambreadth" by Heather Alexander followed by "Ride of the Valkyries" by Richard Wagner

  • What's the name/band of this song?

  • Sauron reporting in, thanks for sharing this video! I was thinking we were never going to get to see any of the footage captured from the 2007 invite! MORE MORE MORE! :) X1 Frenzies are always fun. :)

  • YEAH!!!! I remember that fight! I'm Metal Storm! We had big fun in that fight, and it was a great chance for us Dallas pilots to show the Houston crew that we were out for blood. X-1 Frenzy is to this day one of my favorite game types. LONG LIVE THE PODS!!!
