its actually about 5%.

Its about 90% windows(xp n vista)

and 5% mac

about 3-4 % windows 7

and 1ish% linux

Everyone I know uses windows so why do they act like they have so many mac users. Everywhere I go is windows windows windows.

I'm a Mac, but I have to agree, there are way more Windows users than Mac users. I see Windows everywhere I go, and rarely see Mac.

No! I don't support one over the other! I'm saying get the one that's best for you! For example, I like Linux because there are opensource equivalents to expensive programs, like KDENLive is opensource and free whereas Sony Vegas Pro is not. If I want to run a game I'll just run it in Wine or Playonlinux. I also don't need to purchase overclocking or benchmarking software because Linux has that. In other words, (for me) why pay to get a few things when you can freely get everything?

Why not just get a PC if you're going to put a PC on your MAC? I'm sorry, I just don't understand why you're an advocate for a MAC(PC) rather than a PC.

@1337RussianCoDPlay3r I'm going to make the safe assumption that you're not a gamer, because, if you were, you would have noticed that MOST (not all) of the game providers do not support MAC operating systems. Yes, MAC is a great gaming computer if you want to play Pac-Man. But hey, that's you.

But your talking about your preference as though it's fact. Your preference is Windows 7 for games and MACs for work. That doesn't make it a fact. You can't argue 1+1=2, because it is a fact. You can argue that Windows 7 is good for games and that MACs are good for work because that's what's best for you. But you're saying it as though it applies to everyone. All I did was say that what you said is an opinion, therefore I did not "fringe upon this right"....

Yes, MAC's are VERY productive, if you've ever had one. I have one of each, Windows 7 on my home computer, and a MACBOOK for school. The MAC is the most amazing computer for working. It's so simple to construct documents on it, unlike Windows 7, which is better for games............

You PREFER Windows 7. Every OS is best for a specific need. Although yes, Macs are pointless because they are not really Macs, except for the cases.

Get the one you find fulfills your needs. You can't say one OS is better especially since Linux and Macs have programs that let you run Windows stuff on it such as games, and you can still run Linux and Mac stuff, whereas Windows just lets you run Windows stuff.
