Pilot test of a series of Gregorian Chant videos. All of the music productions and visuals are original. Gregorian Chant music was produced by Fr. G.M. Sveboda with the Winnipeg Diocesan Choir & Choir 2000. The videos are part of an extensive examination of the history of Gregorian Chant. Sample lectures will be posted soon. These have been recorded in Japanese, French & English.Images and videos are produced by Al Rosenberg. We are looking for any constructive thoughts and comments on these excerpts. This is an update of our previous Pavane video.

  • It's exactly the same comment than for the other video like this one: far too fast animation, when all should be peaceful and slow.

But I vote 5 stars for the work done, the intention, and the work that you will do to ameliorate it.

  • Thanks for the comment. I will slow the next one down, meaning that it will use fewer images. It will be on a different piece of music. I have 30 to create. I really enjoy doing this, and am pulling from my cloud collection of over 2500 cloud / sky images.

  • Media vita in morte sumus - in the midst of life we are in death - quem quaerimus adjutorem nisi te, Domine? - whom shall we ask to be our helper but thee, Lord? - qui pro peccatis nostris juste irasceris - who art justly angered at our sins - sancte Deus, sancte fortis, sancte misericors Salvator - Holy God, holy powerful and merciful Saviour - Amarae morti ne tradas nos - Do not hand us over to bitter death.....

  • Thank you for your efforts, I really enjoyed watching!

  • okey

  • Do believe this is a chant written by St. Ambrose instead of St. Gregory the Great. But this is besides the point it is a beautiful chant.

  • Bravo! Awesome. Could be a little slower, but still good! Thanks for posting.

  • Beautiful..just like the version done by santo domingo de silos.

  • I love this one more than the Pavane video. Great visuals! The chant is quite beautiful. Look forward to more.
