i have aspergers and i look people in the eyes but it feels better to not look people in the eyes :) but when i do look people in the eyes it mostly feels like im looking right through their soul :S

ugh..that eye contact thing is what bugs me the MOST...i notice it every time i do it, at the drive through , talking to a friend, getting my hair cut, i CAN'T look people in the eyes. i remember when i had my job interview a few months ago(didn't get the job) i found it unbearable to keep eye contact on the manager. I tried my best because i was told it is best to keep good eye contact but ALL i could think everytime she looked me in the eye were things like (am i staring at her too much?)

i have a problem with the eye contact thing too. Also with the sensory issues and socializing. Maybe I should get checked out myself?

@cwsmooth129 I got diagnosed with it because of my mum and dad breaking up and a social worker noticed my behaviour problems and helped me. If you need help you could try asking your parents again or contacting your school. But honestly I'm tired of these documenteries of people trying to explain aspergers even though the don't actually have it!

I am pretty sure I have aspergers but only some of the apply to me. I'm 10 and I just bulked up enough courage to ask my parents if I had aspergers and they told me no looked at their feet and quickly changed the subject. I then asked my doctor to get me diagnosed and he told me that I'm too young to get diagnosed even when I know kids who are younger then me who got diagnosed. I need to know if I have aspergers so from this comment and my life in it please tell me in a comment reply that if yo

I've got aspergers and each time my teacher says 'Look at me' I look at her for like half a second then look at her legs again.

@fetzekatze they i mean the expersts say the brain is wifi so may be thats why took me years to do the eye contact thing i dont like it but i just got used to it .. jeff ..

@fetzekate I have Asperger syndrome too and I'm 11 I've gotten better at looking at people in the eye. There's nothing wrong with Aspergers.
