"Bad Dream" - A Kingdom Come Superman Tribute

Just a quick little Kingdom Come tribute vid I felt compelled to make last night. Slight focus on the pains Superman endured and how he and others rose above them. I wish it was a little more comprehensive but the song is only so long and then I got sidetracked on the SM/WW subplot, lol.

Anyways, enjoy!

All images were taken from the Kingdom Come graphic novel and the ones you may not recognize come from "Justice Society of America 22" (future images) and "Justice Society of America: Kingdom Come Special - Superman" (Lois' death).

I've got the Kingdom Come graphic novel, but it doesn't have the scenes at the end of the video: 20, 200, 2000 years...and so on. Where are these found? Was there another series that came out and I missed it?

Hey thanks for this. KC is my fave GN. And thanks to DC for finally seeing what fans have longed for decades. I knew I could not have been imagining it all these years that Superman and Wonder Woman are meant to be and make a natural couple.

I just realize that I commented already...but one question. They got how many kids? 4 or 5? Makes sense anyway. Supes could never have sex with Lois unless he wants to kill her and she can't even give him a kid unless he wants it to kick through her womb. Hmm I guess if we are being realistic to really be with Lois he could never be Superman but must lose his powers or just mope after her. That sucks and undermines the myth doesn't it?

the one one thing i like about dc is they connect emotionally instead of marvel who is all about violence and cool lookin stuff but there still cool so. yeah.

@Tu4sker49 Amen to that. People, especially now, are ungrateful and act like Superman either has to be "dark and brooding" or "grounded to human level" to be relevant. He'll always be relevant since he represent a standard to measure up to. He's not a "Christ-figure" and never tries to impose his will on anybody.

That said, we need heroes like Superman, especially in a world like ours, and always will. Here's hoping he doesn't leave anytime soon.

hey I just noticed something.......for those of u who read kingdom come Metropolis thinks that Superman was too soft and THAT IS EXACTLY HOW PEOPLE FEEL ABOUT HIM TODAY!!!!

Everyone seems to think that Superman is too powerful and unrelatable and they need someone else like Batman. Now im a huge Batman fan saying this.

For those who diss Superman just wait until the day he disappears and then you would want him back JUST WAIT

Kingdom Come is not only one of my favorite graphic novels but I think it was one of the greatest ever written and drawn

No matter how many times I read it the image of Superman screaming at the sky after the bomb, surrounded by the skeletons of the metahumans gets me every time

@Riddlemaster52 That's what I thought at first. In the 10th time reading it, I've noticed that scene of the two together in that rowdy metahuman bar that Supes came down there looking for recruits. KC's full of easter eggs there, especially one Star Wars character.
