...and our compassion for animals shouldn't hinge upon whether we find them "cute" or not.

thats a cool pet, she's big but you have a big yard. I have a pet chicken and I love it more than anything <3 but he's just started turning into a rooster, I am worried about getting in trouble for crwoing (he lives in my house)

When I grow up, I will get pet turkey, that`s for sure!
I almost cried watching this. This is the sweetest turkey. I used to have pet chickens. They were such sweet little babies.

@GhostMuffin Thank you very much, she was lovely..and sadly yes, she passed away since this video was posted. I miss her a lot! I'm planning to buy young turkeys next spring (for pets only!) again. Turkeys make wonderful pets!

@bnd200p Congratulations on the poults! :) Mine looked like miniature baby ostriches lol, long tall skinny necks, huge eyes, little round bodies :)
White, mine were a pale yellow to white colour. The breed I bought was White Holland. I bought my poults at 2 weeks of age, so they may have looked more like baby chickens before this age. Good luck and have a blast!
