eeerrrrrr, errrrrr, errrrrrrrm, errrrrrrrrrm, errrrrrrr, errrrrrrr. Amateur radio was killed off when phones and the internet come along. Morse died out years ago. Not used my radios for years now, the bands are full of boring old people who just want to tell everyone which radios they have - it almost becomes a competition. Should have told him his radio was rubbish!

Nice QSO about the features of the FT1000. Ain't nothing like a non menu driven radio. Only trouble is 100 watts sux. I take my old Eico 753 at 250watts with sweep tubes for the final. Soon to put up a long wire 400 meters long.

Well I kind of get offened some times I am only licesed as a tech class which only gets me local coverage but if you get a general class which i am going for you can use the atmosphere to bounce your singnals to get dx far off station visit arrl for more info.

By the way, can I listen to ham radio on my 40channel am cb radio, I've got a 50 watt burner powering a 3' whip on a mag mount on top of a piece of aluminium, would that work ?. P.S, I suffer from insomnia and this video is the best cure ever, thankyou very much indeed.
