I left Phoenix in '05, and loved riding the "Red Line" to work. It took me from Alma School & Main Street, to 19th ave and Northern. About 1:30 minutes. You can meet all kinds of people and just riding is a joy.

I rode on New Years eve also. Was packed in very tight around 4pm when I took the rail back to Tempe. It shouldn't be as packed now though since you have to pay for it. Plus you had the bowl game crowd trying it out.

Yeah I figured that. We took it to First Friday's to from Tempe and back, it was full but not packed. Just couldn't believe how packed it was that day!
