  • @RobinsRehab ... YAY for Southern Womyn's Fest!!! Helped out at a few and they were wonderful. Hope Pat and all are well. It was a wonderful introduction to new womyn's music like Halcyon, God-des and She, Alix Olson, Ubaka Hill, and so many others. Is the festival still happening yearly?

  • @bonkler lol, what does that mean ?

  • the Womyn's Music movement opened the field for not just women in art and music, but for whole generations to listen to, and appreciate music outside the box music stores. Bravo!

  • I was one of the Promoters for the "Southern Womyns Fest" on the Florida - Georgia line. We had over 20 Womyn Entertainers on 75 acres of the rustic forested campground of the "Hidden River Resort" and Cris was our main event on the last day. It was an almost orgasmic way to end 4 days of camping that were so spread out within the woods... it was hard to tell there was even 50 womyn there, let alone almost 400! UNTIL Nitefall. Cris ROCKED the House,or should I say "forest!" UNBELIEVABLE!!

  • i saw chris williamson and tret fury 16 years ago last august in province town for my 11th birthday..... i miss those days....

  • Appreciating lesbians is like a full time job for me

  • Still gives me chills

  • I grew up on this album and also Holly Near in the 70's at the hight of the woman's movement

. I got rid of my vinyl when CDs came out. Wish I didn't do that.

  • RJD2

  • I never appreciated music and beautiful songs more than at this moment!
