  • @scopions84 umm no dude. Travis is a great drummer, but there's no comparison to Buddy Rich. First of all, It's a different style of music. Second, Buddy Rich is simply an amazing drummer and plays a lot more complex stuff than Travis.

Why don't you go compare Travis Barker to someone who plays a slightly more similar style of music. Listen to Keith Moon. Travis Barker has nothing on him either. These were drummers leading the way to new styles and sounds...Travis is nothing new or special.

  • Never heard of travis barekr. Maybe someone should school you on spelling.

  • @scopions84 "Travis Barker is better than Buddy Rich?"

    LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....that's rich!

  • bravo!!!

  • That was future trumpet giant, Chuck Findley, at the ripe old age of nineteen, who caught the cymbal stand and saved the day. The lead/solo alto was future sax star, Ernie Watts.

    Tony Horowitz

  • wow! at 5:07 that crash cymbal stand takes a dive but a quick, cool handed trumpet player not only saves the song but the trombone player as well. Not to mention the trombone player who just happened to be standing at the time the whole thing happened. When they got on the bus that night I'll bet I know who the hero was....Buddy was very lucky....

  • drum companies used to make crappy, i mean really crappy cymbal stands back in those days.

  • music of this caliber on network television, things have changed just a little over the years

  • '67? this was a revelation to me, the first version i heard was on Rich In London '72. How about that?

  • @trumpeted6359

Yoshiko Murakami is playing lead. He played mostly 2nd and third on the band but is the lead man here
