Wrecking an old clay model with a Kolb StudioLine milling machine

How to wreck an old design model made of clay with a Kolb StudioLine S clay milling machine.

Since seven years we have a model of an Opel Zafira in our presentation studio in Hengersberg. After all those years we decided that it´s time for something new: within a few weeks we want to replace it with a new car. In our blog http://kolb.wordpress.com/ we want to show all steps of the making: from manual modelling to finish milling.
We will take away a lot of material from the old model as we want to use the old subframe and foam body for the new car. You will see how easily StudioLine mills deep into the old clay to shape the new design. Then we will load fresh clay and start with the "real" milling process with rough-cut and finish milling.
