Someone is controlling it. It's controlled by the power functions infra-red parts.

I thought so but I wasn't sure seeing as you couldn't have been 'cos you were operating the camera I think. You must have alot of lego to do that! :D

An idea to maybe improve the kicker, maybe put a slight wall in the area where the balls land to try and prevent them bouncing out.

I did put a ramp there to help, but to be honest it was 100% accurate. I changed the motor from a 4.5 volt to a 9 volt which caused a slight timing issue. This GBC is a collaboration with friends and yes we do have a lot of Lego :) Don't apologize for long posts all interest, criticism good or bad is welcome. We are working on a lego ball factory next :)
