  • Hi, I decided to watch this video because I'm doing a presentation on assertive behavior for my Interpersonal Communication class. I am also interested in this topic overall, as well as the psychology aspect. Thank you for posting and I hope you post other videos.

    You sound wise. Do you mind if I ask you for some advice.

    There is this co-worker who likes to raise his voice a lot.

    I tried being assertive and not mean and said, 'I would like it if you would lower your voice please.'

    He immediately thought I was having a go at him, but I was only being assertive.

    Did I fail?
