*SPOILERS*
This vid contains spoilers for Kingdom Hearts 2 (including a clip from the ending), and Re:COM and Final Mix clips.
Well, this is my special little vid ^_^
This was made to be a birthday present for my best friend, but you all can watch it too =)
It's to one of her favorite songs, and even though she hasn't played KH (doesn't have a PS2 either...or a Youtube account...), I'm sure she'll love it, even if it's a little weird, lol
This was pretty darn hard to make, to tell you the truth.
Why? Well...it's a really happy song for one, and, obviously, one that involves dancing.
And I've gotta tell ya: Happy-dancy clips are hard to find in KH.
(And I didn't want to use the one when Sora comes out of the pod in KH2, because, well...I don't want to say anything mean about it that I'll regret, but I just don't like it...if you've seen it, you know what I'm talking about :/)
But I found them, and used 'em ;)
As a result, I may have used a little too much Demyx in this (no clip repetition, just a lot of what is available of him)...but I thought she might like him, plus he's a pretty happy guy for the most part, so he fits this well ;)
Story...uh...
Sora's decided to throw a huge party, and inadvertantly wakes up Roxas (who's TRYING to get some sleep...) with his keyboard-playing (who knew?) and singing. Roxas comes down and finds his friends Hayner, Pence and Olette are there, and his best friend, Axel =D
Turns out Sora's invited just about EVERYONE who would come, including a few Org. members...hehe
Demyx helps get the party started, since it was partly his idea (yeah, Sora and him are friends now :D [as they should have been! Sora and his Nobody prejudices...*sigh*]).
Then it just goes crazy from there, with everybody dancing under the light of the Kingdom Hearts moon (and an actual moon), including Roxas (Dance, Roxas, dance!!! mwahahahaaaa... ;) ).
And Axel is given the chance to show off his pyro skills ;D
...And at the end, Sora gets to dance with his girl (SoKai fans: "Awwww..." Me: "Ehhhh...." I still don't like SoKai all that much, but since my friend loves romantic stuff, I put it in there for her).
I cast Sora as the guy singing it mostly because he looks the most like the lead singer of Toploader, heh (It also helps that he's, like, the happiest person in all of Kingdom Hearts...).
I did change it up at one point to Demyx, because I could totally imagine him saying that ;) (And the fact that the lip-sync went PERFECTLY helped too) It's probably the best lip-synch in the vid, actually...hey, what do you want, I'm not all that accustomed to lip-synching with Sora...
I based this mostly off of the original MV (which can be found in my favorites list, BTW), which meant that I could give Axel a special role... :D
Yep, when I saw that fire dancer-guy in the original MV, I knew that would be the PERFECT role for Axel, especially now since the Re:COM clips have come out, I can mostly match Axel's fire-wielding to the fire dancer's at different points in the video.
Most all of the clips in this vid are happy ones, but I made an exception with the Japanese version of a certain event during the third visit to Twilight Town...It was a tough decision, but I used it because it matched so well with the same part in the original MV. I used it for way it looked, not for what it actually depicts.
So pretend he's just dancing with the fire, alright? =)
Other than that, I tried to make this a very happy little vid, 'cause it's to a very happy little song :)
I tried to pick clips that I thought she would like, in addition to ones that I thought would fit. I've never done so much blending of KH1, Re:COM and KH2 clips in a video before...
Believe me, I put A LOT of effort into this. It was definitely a headache at times to make, but it was well worth it.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY EVA!!! ^_^
The video clips are from KH-Vids.net and KH2.co.uk, song info in the credits. (I don't want to risk this getting blocked by Youtube) The sound effect at the end was found at findsounds.com (Windows Movie Maker version 1.1 doesn't let you mute certain clips, you can either mute all or none of them...So you have to get a little creative ;) ). The sound effect's a little loud, so watch out for that. I just thought it'd be cute :)
disney characters?? Japanese animation figures what sort of game is this?, dont kill me for not having heard of it before lol.

lol, it's cool ^^
The clips here are from the Kingdom Hearts video game series for the Playstation 2 (though there have been KH games for the Game Boy Advance and the Nintendo DS, and another upcoming one for the PSP), which is a collaboration of Disney and the developer Square Enix, known for the Final Fantasy series. Square Enix developed the games, Disney just allowed their characters and storylines to be thrown in, that's why it's become so popular ;D
Look it up on wikipedia for more info ^^

lol should have done the Alyson stoner version, she did the voice of xion in 358/2 days, and i think she did kairis to, can't remember though.

Oh really?
Well, I made this video like, almost three years ago, looonnng before 358/2 Days came out, and I used this version of the song specifically because my best friend, who I made this for, liked this version best.
And I think Hayden Panettiere voiced Kairi in KH2, but I'm glad they picked someone else to voice Xion; I liked that she didn't have the EXACT same voice as Kairi :P

So, you said you muted the clips, how? I made a couple Kingdom Hearts vids and I wasn't able to mute them. Plus, Idk how. How did you mute them?
Great vid, btw!

UHM.... ._.'
Well, what version of Windows Movie Maker are you using? If it looks kinda old and you can't add any special effects, you've got 1.1. I haven't worked with 1.1 for just about a year now, so I don't remember EXACTLY where the thing was to mute the clips, but I think it was on the timeline, near where you put the video clips.
If you've got a higher version of WMM, all you have to do, I think, is right-click the clip and left-click "Mute". That's how it works on Vista, at least :/
