Wrapping up the Wheel Horse 520H restoration. Unfortunately, now we have a situation with a knock in the engine that was not present when I purchased it.

@intakepark Thanks a lot, I have been going over this in my head all night long. It has to be something simple, I didn't crack the case and the knock wasn't there when I got it... I'll figure it out.

i would check your connecting rodes one of them could be lose ive seen it before causing the motor to make a knocking sound

Any updates as to the knock? I cant wait to find out what is causing it, but hope its nothing major. I know tearing it back down will be a PITA, but at least your engine will be set for at least another 20 or so years.

You lucked out with that electrical problem!! that could have taken days to figure out!! Install a radio, that will fix the knock!! Fine job Buddy, now it's just a matter of fixing some bugs!!☺
