Anime characters. Do they look american or japanese? [Read description]

Misa got lazy and so this video is kind of crappy, but Misa-Misa hopes you got the point anyway.
Misa has seen a lot of videos on youtube about anime characters looking white or japanese. Misa thinks anyone can look like an anime character if they have the traits of an anime character. Misa personally thinks that it doesn't matter what race you are, if you have a round face, big eyes, small mouth and a small nose you look like an anime character. Race has nothing to do with it, Japanese usually do look like anime characters because they usually have round faces, small noses and small mouths. But that doesn't mean americans don't look like anime characters too...

See? No matter what race you are, you can look anime-like if you have the right traits. Round face, small nose, big eyes.

Some Asians have small squinty eyes, some don't...and some americans have big eyes like anime characters. some don't. Some asians have round faces, some americans don't. But some do. Don't say that all asians look like anime characters and all americans don't. Because that is wrong. It depends on the person, and their facial and body structure, plus their skin tone.

Not all Asians look like Kipi.
Not all Americans look like Hilary Duff or, who ever that person used as an example in that picture.

Some Americans cosplay better than Japanese people.
So please keep in mind not everyone looks the same.

Misa is glad she is part both american and japanese because it means she wins no matter if people say anime characters look more american, or more japanese. : D YAY!

If you really wanna look like an anime character buy circle lenses. They make you look like you have anime-like eyes. I recommend them to anyone who likes the anime-look.

Not all americans have a pronounced brow line. And some Asians have a pronounced brow line.
People come in all shapes and sizes. Tell Misa your opinion. Do anime characters look asian or american to you?

To Misa it depends on the face and body shape.

Japanese people GENERALLY do look better cosplaying. It doesn't mean Westerners shouldn't, and that they can't be good at it.

Either way, cosplaying is about having fun. So it shouldn't really matter. :x

@EpIcRaNdOmNeSsNiCoLe Well if you were referring to the eye insecurity, i understand. I don't think the make up thing is about looking white anymore. East asians like koreans or japanese, are some of the least diverse races in the world in terms of how they look. I'm not saying they all look the same but they look very similar. Black straight hair, no eyelids and brown eyes. I noticed in Japan, alot of ppl just want to stand out since so many of their features are similar.

@MrJvun Ha, yes americans are not white, but what I mean is westerns, or most europeans if you get what i mean. Caucasian, Nigeriod, and Mongoloid. THose 3 are the main 2 types of human races characterized by physical features.

I could go into detail but I am just leaving the rest up to you to research. Obviously all 3 races developed differently, they all even have different skull structure. Its Genes, its not all the same for everyone. Asians also seem to have the largest skull.

Have any of you guys been to Japan? Anime characters do not look like Japanese people. Majority (90%) of anime characters have big eyes of different colors, pale skin, different hair colors, straight noses (as far as we can tell from the way they are drawn) and pointed chins. Most Asian people in the world are tanned, have black hair, brown eyes, nose varies and facial shape varies. Most Japanese girls don't act all innocent like these characters. guys don't nosebleed when they see tits.
