  • 'Pound' has always been my favourite track from The Tug of War. We can see from this demo that the part 'my heart just wasn't in it anymore' was most likely written by Eric Stewart of 10cc, who is listed as a co-writer of the album version..

  • @Calaitafan I have no idea what that means, it makes no sense.

  • @observer9670 you are stupid?? McCartney II was this year published but i must be coreccting it was in 1980

  • @Calaitafan I wonder why Paul decided not to include these songs on McCartney II the next year.

  • the sessions was 1979

  • @alexdani1974 I suppose wanderlust is the name of a kind of boat or something

  • Weird how he had them for so long and they didn't turn up on LT/BTTE or Macca2

  • I think Tug of War it's one of his best albums ....I love it.

  • Paul wrote this when they recorded London Town in Virgin Island.

Wanderlust is the name of the boat where they had their mobile studio. When the Captain of Wanderlust found out they used marihuana onboard he told them would tell the police or something. And it shows in the lyrics: "Captain says there will be a bust" and "What petty crime was I found guilty of"

  • WHAT DOES WANDERLUST MEAN?
